The following is a partial list of current and former (as in deceased) crystalline ceramicists. Not everyone who has tried their hand is listed. The reason being that at one time or another, just about anyone in the pottery shtick has given it an experimental whirl. And because the myriad of variables makes acceptable consistency damn near impossible, only the nut jobs stick with it. Also, the list defers to a body of work that demonstrates a command of the medium, an ability to throw to scale, mastery of shapes, aesthetic sophistication and dedication. Apologies to those missed.
